The squad rides an 8-3 record to finish 10th in the country (open division)!

The boys of 16 Elite headed to Dallas, Texas to compete against the best in the country on the biggest stage in club volleyball. They did not disappoint.

They played big. They played fast. And they finished the season as one of the best teams in the country. Maybe it wasn't a medal. But it was something to be proud of.

"We came out strong and fought hard the entire time. It wasn't exactly the result we wanted but as coach says it's about preparation, effort, and doing the best we can every single point," said outside hitter Michael Lund.

They definitely started the tournament with maximum effort, winning their first four games handily before slipping against Niagara Frontier.

"We bounced back from every loss. They've done that the whole year. We lose some matches but we rarely ever lose two in a row. That shows how much fight and resilience this team has," reflected head coach Hugo Ayala proudly.

The boys then beat tough San Clemente and Bay to Bay teams before falling to crosstown rival Long Beach Rockstar in the final match of the season. But they help their heads high. And they should. They're a talented team that has a bright future.

"Each year is a lesson. This team will only get better. Such a talented group. Wish them all the best of luck," said Ayala.
